Question:
*All dates/timings of blood/spotting/coloured discharge must be included within the dates. If not, the answer may be incorrect.* The first pregnancy, the brown discharge lasted a couple of days past 40 days. (Can’t remember exact days). This time it ended completely exactly at 40 days. Last three cycles prior to pregnancy: 2024 January 30 - February 6 February 26-March 4 March 25, 2024- Apr 1, 2024 No spotting in between periods Baby’s DOB: Dec 19 Post partum bleeding for 40 days, after which there was white discharge. Thus I started praying again Jan 28. No blood until period Feb 3-11. IUD procedure feb 10 (2nd last day of procedure) No bleeding (white discharge only) until Feb 15th. Continuous spotting (daily) brown/pink from Feb 15 until yesterday. Yesterday (March 4) I started having red heavier flowing blood (timing and consistency/ colour consistent with my period)

📝 Answer:

The bleeding and purity (tuh’r) has been in the following sequence before pregnancy:

30 January to 6 February, a total of 7 days of period.

20 days of purity (tuh’r)

26 February to 4 March, a total of 7 days of period.

21 days of purity (tuh’r)

25 March to 1 April, a total of 7 days of period.

Pregnancy

Date of delivery: 19 December

19 December to 5 March, a total of 76 days of blood.

➖➖➖➖

✍️ Solution:

♦️ 19 December to 28 January, a total of 40 days of post-natal bleeding.

🔸 28 January to 18 February, a total of 21 days of definitive purity (istehadha).

▪ If you performed ghusl on 28 January, salah after it are all valid. If you didn't, then make qada of all the salah until you took ghusl.

▪ If you left any salah thinking of it as haidh and it turned out to be istehadha, then make qada of them.

♦️ 18 February to 25 February, a total of 7 days of period.

🔸 25 February to 5 March, a total of 8 days of definitive purity (istehadha).

▪ If you performed ghusl on 25 February, salah after it are all valid. If you didn't, then make qada of all the salah until you took ghusl.

▪ If you left any salah thinking of it as haidh and it turned out to be istehadha, then make qada of them.

➖➖➖➖

❄️ Habit: Nifas : 40 days, Haidh : 7 days, Purity (Tuh’r): 21 days

You are in the days of your purity (tuh’r) right now, so keep up your ritual worship as usual.

In case this bleeding continues without complete 15 days of purity, then until 18 March, are certainly the days of purity (tuh'r)

Kindly, keep note of the bleeding/spotting with month, date and time.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
