Question:
Hafizas Daughter *All dates of blood/spotting/coloured discharge must be included within the dates. If not, the answer may be incorrect.* My 11 year old daughter started her period in July - these are her days of bleeding: 1st period: 14 July - 20th July 2nd period: 3rd Aug - 9th Aug 3rd period: 29th Aug - 4th Sept 4th period: 22nd Sept - 28 Sept. 07 oct she had little spotting at 4pm but when she came back from madrasah now it’s seems like light period u would normally get on day 1. But she has only had 9days of purity since her last period - so am I right in saying to her she can continue praying and it’s istihadha?

📝 Answer:

The bleeding and purity (tuh’r) has been in the following sequence:

29 August to 4 September, a total of 6 days of period.

18 days of purity (tuh’r)

15 days of continued bleeding from 22 September to 7 October (since you haven’t had 15 or more blood-free days at a stretch in there)

➖➖➖➖

✍️ Solution:

♦️ 22 September to 28 September, a total of 6 days of period.

🔸 28 September to 7 October, a total of 9 days of definitive purity (istehadha).

▪ If you performed ghusl on 28 September, salah after it are all valid. If you didn't, then make qada of all the salah until you took ghusl.

▪ If you left any salah thinking of it as haidh and it turned out to be istehadha, then make qada of them.

➖➖➖➖

❄️ Habit: 6 days/18 days

You are in the days of your purity (tuh’r) right now, so keep up your ritual worship as usual.

In case this bleeding continues without complete 15 days of purity, then until 16 October, are certainly the days of purity (tuh'r)

Kindly, keep note of the bleeding/spotting with month, date and time.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
